What If A Hard Reset Doesn’t Help
In most cases doing a hard reset solves all the problems. However, if it doesn’t and your Fire phone still misbehaves, you should restore factory settings.
Here’s how to do it:
- Swivel your wrist to access Quick Actions & Notifications.
- Go to Settings > Device and choose Factory reset your Fire.
- Optionally, you can back up your device before reset. Click on Reset and your Fire will be restored to the defaults.
Update Your Fire Phone
It’s also very important to keep your Fire phone up-to-date. Amazon regularly updates Fire OS, removes bugs and adds new features.
If you regularly update your Fire phone, you can be sure of its best performance.
