Trouble Going Back In Fire Phone? Read On!
If you are a new Fire phone user, you are probably as astonished as I was that it has no back button.
The back button is present is most of the phones (especially Android phones) and we are used to using it when navigating our devices.
In this short tutorial I will tell you how to deal with this problem and be able to GO BACK in your Fire phone whenever you want!
In case you don’t, read the below instructions and forget about this Fire phone problem for ever. 🙂
How To Go Back On Your Fire Phone
It’s extremely simple to go back to the previous screen in Fire phone. However, if you don’t know how to do it, you may have trouble finding it out for yourself.
All you need to do to go back is swipe up from below the screen you are currently looking at. Remember not to do it too slowly or it won’t work. It works the same way in landscape too.
In this short video you can see me go back on my Fire phone:
How To Go Back And Exit Apps
Some apps have either an exit button or a back arrow.I noticed that many popular Android apps and games which have been optimized for Fire phone do have an exit button.
To check if an app has an exit button, touch anywhere in the bottom part of the screen. At the bottom of the screen, the exit button will appear.
If you are holding your Fire in landscape, the button will appear on the right.
If the app doesn’t have an exit button or a back arrow, you can leave it by simply swiping up from below the screen.
Using The Home Button To Leave
Yes, you can also use the home button to leave the app. The difference is that when you click the home button, you will return to the carousel or the app grid.
The app you were using will not be closed, and you will come back to the screen you left once you open it again (unless you rebooted your Fire phone).
You very often want to go back just one screen and using the home button won’t help you do that. If you want to return to the previous screen, just swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
