Do you want to turn off vibrations in your Fire phone but you don’t know how to do it?
Did you get lost in the Fire phone settings? No problem!
In this short tutorial I will show you how to turn off vibrations in your Fire. Are you ready to start? Great! 🙂
How To Control Vibrations With Volume Button
In Fire phone different settings for vibrations are in different places. Let’s first adjust the settings for vibrations when someone is calling us.
To turn off or turn on vibrations (depending on your initial settings), just press the volume down button (which is on the upper left side of your Fire phone).
Once you do it, you will see the menu like this.
To activate vibrations (instead of a ringtone), just click on Vibrate. To deactivate it, click on Silent or Silent for 3 hours.
With the option ringer on activated, vibrations will either be active or not (depending on your settings for ringtones which we will discuss in a second).
Digging Deeper Into Vibration Settings
As you probably noticed, different settings in Fire phone are often located in various and not-so-obvious places.
Fortunately, Fire phone lets you easily look for specific settings. All you need to do is go do Settings and then use the search box to find what you are looking for.
As you can see, there are basically three settings relating to vibrations in Fire phone.
In Change your ringtone you can choose whether you want your Fire phone to vibrate for incoming calls.
In Manage notifications, you can choose what apps will be allowed to vibrate for new notifications. Just like in the case of ringtones, you can either turn vibration on or off for each app from the list.
In Change touch feedback settings, you can choose whether you want to let your Fire phone vibrate on touch.
These are all the settings that let you control vibrations in your Fire phone. If you have any questions, feel free to post me a comment.
