Managing Fire Phone Notifications
All of the recent notifications will appear below the quick actions icons (from the most recent to the least recent).
- Tap the notification to go to the app or setting it refers to.

Remember that active notifications (i.e. downloading or installing an app) cannot be cleared. You must wait unit the process is finished.
Of course, you can customize notification settings to your needs. To do that, go to Settings > Sounds & Notifications > Manage Notifications. You will see the list of apps whose notification settings you can manage. Once you click on the app, you will be able to turn on or off: Notifications (e.g. previews of messages), Banners (that appear at the top of the screen), Sound, and Vibration.
You can also turn on and off notifications when your Fire is locked. Go to Settings > Lock Screen > Turn on notification on the lock screen.
You will be able to choose whether or not to display notification in the top panel above the lock screen, wake your Fire for new notifications as well as adjust lock screen settings (e.g. scene, lock method, automatic lock).
